We feel there is something special about using our hands to craft our metalwork art

as a couple, we blend our talents, a lifetime sign company owner & a lifetime computer / art & craft nerd. this allows us to incorporate those talents using our CNC plasma machine to actually cut our metalwork pieces. where we differ from most cnc plasma cut metalwork is we refuse to just add powder coat finishes. our pieces are all hand cleaned and finished using techniques that have been acquired through years of working with steel, aluminum and being owner of a sign business. in addition to that Charlie has been a hobbyist automotive finisher most of his adult life. each piece is studied so we can make it come to life Utilizing the right grind technique, the right paint color and the right texture. our favorite material is aluminum. as anyone who lives in the low country knows, plain steel takes a beating in the salty environment over time. aluminum stands up really well and also allows us to add lots of unique character to each metalwork piece. It is very satisfying to know you have taken the time to create something special with respect and curiosity for the materials used and the process itself.
